PROYECTO TRIPTICOS | TRIPTYCHS PROJECT:

Moris comparte un ejercicio que realiza hace muchos años y que consiste en una selección de Peliculas-Libros-Música de los que ha disfrutado en algunos momentos de su vida y que, en parte, también afectaron para bien su trabajo. Cada película la relaciona con un libro y un álbum musical, sumando 11 trípticos en total, con el objetivo de que los elementos de cada tríptico se nutran y complementen entre sí, generando una experiencia amplia. Como todo en Moris, la selección es algo sacado desde las entrañas, sin pretensiones y muy sincera.

Todo el material es de fácil acceso desde diferentes plataformas, de cara a facilitar su obtención sin abandonar el hogar.

_{Moris shares an exercise that he has carried out for many years and that consists of a selection of Movies-Books-Music that he has enjoyed at some point in his life and that, in part, also affected positively his work. Each film is related then to a book and a music album, summing up to a total of 11 triptychs, aiming that the elements of each triptych nurture and complement each other, generating a wide experience. Like everything in Moris, the selection is something taken from within, unpretentious and very sincere.}

Jordi Teixidor, en el espíritu de este proyecto, nos desvela un conjunto de propuestas de obras cuyas ideas las ha trabajado a lo largo de algunos años, pero que, por diferentes circunstancias, todavía no han llegado a realizarse. Y, en un generoso gesto, nos ha compartido sus bocetos. Para acercarnos a esta propuesta, Teixidor presenta una cita del poeta Antonio Gamoneda: No suceden por a una voluntad ni a un proyecto sino por el poder liberador y subversivo de las palabras para deshacer el significado establecido. Olvidemos los significados.

Jordi Teixidor, in the spirit of this project, reveals us a set of project proposals whose ideas he has worked on for some years, but which, for different circumstances, have not yet been realized. And, in a generous gesture, he shares his sketches with us. To approach this proposal, Teixidor presents a quote from the poet Antonio Gamoneda: Things do not happen because of a will or a project, but because of the liberating and subversive power of words to undo the established meaning. Let’s forget the meanings.

We’re joining #stayathome and we’ll be sharing diverse contents through here and via our mailing, thanks to our wonderful artists which, within their current constraints, will offer us online studio visits, catalogues from their exhibitions, their favorite playlists or books that have always inspired them. We’re doing all this because nothing will take away our joy to carry on and, as Louise Bourgeois said, ‘art is a guaranty of sanity’.
